Chesterfield

One day Mom and I took the kids out to Chesterfield to see the pioneer village. They have taken old houses and restored them along with other buildings used back in that time. It was really neat to see how the pioneers lived and to see so many of their things up close. However, I was a nervous wreck that my kids were going to touch something and break it. The doll in this picture is over 100 years old and Maddie was eyeing it. But we managed to make it out without breaking a single thing, not that Kaiden didn't try. :0)

The lady doing the tour wanted to do something fun with the kids so she pulled out this real bear fur and put it on the kids. I'm not sure that Kaitlyn and Mackenzie knew what to think of it but Kaiden loved it. He says he wants to wear it for Halloween because it makes him a real bear.
