Mac's Third Eye

Wonder what the other guy looks like? I am on the phone with my mom today when the school calls. After a weekend of being sick, I was assuming that one of the girls started feeling sick and they needed me to come pick them up. Nope! Apparently Mac was playing on the playground, tripped, and fell. The nurse explained that she has a rather large goosebump and a bad case of road rash. She checked her eyes for dialation, said everything looked good, so we sent her back to class. I think Mac is a little proud of her "battle wound".

Diaper Explosion

This is what happens when you leave a 14 month old alone in a room with a couple of open packages of diapers. It only took a few minutes and she was so proud of herself. She even brought me a diaper and made me follow her so I could see what she had done.

And here's the culprit as cute as ever!

Trick-or-Treat

We went Trick-or-Treating last night and the kids had a blast. I was so happy that it was a beautiful evening and that we didn't have to get all bundled up in winter clothes. The kids got far too much candy that will take us a year to eat, but isn't that the fun part? We got together with Jenn, Dave and their kids for dinner and then to trick-or-treat. Kaitlyn was Ariel, Mackenzie was Cinderella, Kaiden was Spiderman (yes, he was the exact same thing last year but he insisted), and Maddison was a fuzzy bumble bee complete with a stinger. I thought they were just adorable.

Class Parties

I have found that having more than one child is school makes it difficult when it comes to class parties. Both girls had their class Halloween parties on Friday and I went to the school to help out. I had to split my time so they both had mom there for at least a little while. Kaitlyn's class made masks and played some games. She had a great time. Her best friend in her class is Olivia and Kaitlyn insisted that I take a picture of the two of them together. Mac's class did a bunch of fun crafts and had some snacks. I was amazed at how well organized it stayed with that many kindergarteners running around pumped up on sugar. Mac had to get a picture of her "Bat Pumpkin". I think they both thought that the party went by too quickly.
